Technical difficulties

It seems that the latest Microsoft update has done rotten things to Zippy, my laptop. I'm having problems accessing email and getting web access in general. Right now I'm working remotely from TFE's so he can figure out what the silly people in Redmond WA have done to the computer.
For SHF#28: Sweet Seduction Participants:
  • If you emailed me this Saturday or earlier and HAVE NOT received an acknowledgement or reply, I haven't received your message.
  • If you sent me a note Sunday or afterwards, I'll send you a confirmation as soon as I can.
  • If you think you missed the deadline, I'm extending it until my computer woes are...went...
  • I will do my best to get the round-up posted on Friday.

  1. Jasmine, I do not even have any idea why Microsoft even exists. I switched to a Mac 2 years ago and have not looked back since. I sympathize with you all the way. Keepin my fingers crossed for you.

Maybe I should take that old Voodoo doll of Bill out again and see what i can do to help you ;-))

  2. Oh, good grief Jasmine, what a pickle. Computers are such wonders; both when they work and when they don't.
    I hope things resolve soon.

  4. Hello all

Things are sorted now (I hope!)...and yes, I'm seriously thinking the next machine will be a Mac...

Thanks for stopping by.

I love visitor reactions but not anonymous notes, comments which went one round too many on the spin cycle, part of an inflammatory campaign, or those best left for the compost heap. And yes, comments left by "content marketers" are spam, in my eyes and will be dealt with accordingly.

The recipes I post have worked for me, but if you've had problems, I'll do my best to help. Attacks based on results because you've not followed what I've posted (changed ingredients, cooking methods and/or quantities) won't be posted.

In other words: be kind or constructive, not libellous or smarmy.
