...to buy a fat...

peach...

I got to the other market today--quite a study in contrast to the one I visited yesterday: crowds, farmers, produce. I spent hours there--quite fun. This time I even had a shopping list: peaches (have decided to make a pie) and peppers (for mum)...got all that plus some berries and shitake mushrooms.

I also picked up lunch: perogies with sour cream and bacon...and a box of apple fritters. Yummy!

cheers!

  5. Hello all

Heather - They were so beautiful-- there were also some very dark purple ones too.

BP - Glad you like the pics. Not sure when I'll have a chance to see some others. I'm booked up the next couple of weekends, but we'll see :)

Paz - Going to the market is always fun...plus, at these, you meet people who know what they're doing with food, so you can get some great tips. And thanks for the compliments on the banner: thought I should re-do it because of the bloggy birthday :)

Thanks for stopping by.

I love visitor reactions but not anonymous notes, comments which went one round too many on the spin cycle, part of an inflammatory campaign, or those best left for the compost heap. And yes, comments left by "content marketers" are spam, in my eyes and will be dealt with accordingly.

The recipes I post have worked for me, but if you've had problems, I'll do my best to help. Attacks based on results because you've not followed what I've posted (changed ingredients, cooking methods and/or quantities) won't be posted.

In other words: be kind or constructive, not libellous or smarmy.
